What About "Duties & Responsibilities?"

My past duties as a Driller have included;
- Assist in rigging up, rigging down and transporting of drilling rig and equipment.
- Maintenance and the safe operation of all drilling equipment.
- Ensuring proper training of crew and the safe operations while on tour.
- Delegating daily tasks to workers and ensuring that work is completed.
- Monitoring well during drilling and tripping for signs of a kick or lost returns.
- Adjusting weight on bit, rotary RPMs and pump pressures as per companyman and rig managers instructions.
- Conducting regular safety meetings and drills.
- Filling out lift permits and overseeing the lifting personal when air hoist is used.
- Reporting all well conditions to the companyman and toolpusher
- Making sure all work gets completed in a safe manner
