Ladies -

Is your DH an an offshore rig or a land rig? Mine is offshore on a drillship
Any kids? We have 2.
How long have you been dating/married? Together for almost 7 years, married for 4.
How long has be been in the oilfield? 3 years
What do you do for a living? I work in communications for an offshore drilling company (not the same one my DH works for)
How do you pass the time while your honey is away? I am super social, so there are constant play dates, birthday parties, trips to see family, etc. while he is gone. I also try to get everyone in bed as early as possible so we can mark a day off the calendar for him to get home.

Mine works in snubbing and coil tubbing...He works onshore,offshore and all over lol. We have 3 kids, Together for 7 years and married 5 yrs, been in oilfield about 5 yrs now, Im a stay at home mom. We just moved to New Iberia Louisiana so right now to pass the time we do alot of driving around to get to know the area a find new things to do.

Mine is a toolpusher on a land rig
We have 5 between us 4 boys (23,22,19,10) and 1 girl (15)
Been married 10 yrs
He has been in the oilfield 15 yrs
I am a stay at home mom
We have a small farm that keeps me busy

I just realized I've been on this site a little while and never filled this out, so here goes-

Is your DH an an offshore rig or a land rig? Land- Natural Gas though, mostly. Currently working in Wyoming

Any kids? We have 3 (girl 9, boy 4, girl 3)

How long have you been dating/married? Together only 3 months before we got married, been married almost 2 years

How long has be been in the oilfield? 7 years

What do you do for a living? SAHM

How do you pass the time while your honey is away? 3 kids keep me running and there's always the grocery shopping, housework and never ending laundry. And luckily 9 times out of 10 we get to Skype with him at night which makes the evenings seem not so lonely.

No kids...tons of nieces and nephews to spoil in lieu of our own

How do you pass the time while your honey is away? I write 2 blogs, write reviews for sex toys, and pass the time with my kids. I stay busy enough, lol.

He works on a land rig in North Dakota and has been in the oil field his whole life but working for 12 years. We have a son who turns 2 in November. We have been together for 4 years but are not married. I am a stay at home mom and I go to school for nursing. We pass the time with playdates, family and friends. It is hard but we are actually counting down the hours till he gets home tomorrow.

What do you do for a living? *Stay at home mom

How do you pass the time while your honey is away? *I usually see him for at least 2 hours a day but I just stay busy hanging out with friends and going to play dates.
