Have any of you hands been hurt on the job and then fired? Just wondering because Patterson did it to me. I was No longer needed, once I got hurt. Just wondering if any of you have had a similiar experience?
Had a friend that worked one hitch for Union Drilling...His shoulder was injured his first hitch and when he came back for his second they ran him off. Said he was going to sue them but I haven't seen him in a while.
They see you as a liability now so they get rid of you, it's a shame but seen it happen too many times
On the other hand I have seen where they work with the employee and adhere to rehabilitation outline and keep the person working...then again...will all depend on the company you work for and how good of a worker you are. At least there is a lot of work out there. Good luck.
