Drilling Ahead

World Oilfield Forum

Curtis,

I don't know how to kick it off, but I put this out publicly because we have a horizontally drilled shale play in south Texas that will pop up on your radar sooner or later.  The formation is called the Eagle Ford Shale.  You can internet search it and you will get some hits.

It appears to express itself in three "windows", which are dry gas, condensate, and oil.

Naturally, with the bloom off the rose (at least temporarily) for gas, now the focus is on the oil part of the play.

It is getting bigger by the day.  It will attract attention.
