Obama's First Six Months' Accomplishments

1. Offended the Queen of England .
2. Bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia .
3. Praised the Marxist Daniel Ortega.
4. Kissed Socialist Hugo Chavez on the cheek.
5. Endorsed the Socialist Evo Morales of Bolivia .
6. Sided with Hugo Chavez and Communist Fidel Castro against
Honduras .
7. Announced we would meet with Iranians with no pre-conditions
while they're building their nuclear weapons.
8. Gave away billions to AIG also without pre-conditions.
9. Expanded the bailouts.
10. Insulted everyone who has ever loved a Special Olympian.
11. Doubled our national debt.
12. Announced the termination of our new missile defense system
the day after North Korea launched an ICBM.
13. Released information on U.S. intelligence gathering despite
urgings of his own CIA director and the prior four CIA directors.
14. Accepted without comment that five of his cabinet members
cheated on their taxes and two other nominees withdrew after they
couldn't take the heat.
15. Appointed a Homeland Security Chief who identified military
veterans and abortion opponents as "dangers to the nation."
16. Ordered that the word "terrorism" no longer be used and
instead refers to such acts as "man made disasters."
17. Circled the globe to publicly apologize for America 's world
leadership.
18. Told the Mexican president that the violence in their country
was because of us.
19. Politicized the census by moving it into the White House from
the Department of Commerce.
20. Appointed as Attorney General the man who orchestrated the
forced removal and expulsion to Cuba of a 9-year-old whose mother
died trying to bring him to freedom in the United States .
21. Salutes as heroes three Navy SEALS who took down three
terrorists who threatened one American life and the next day
announces members of the Bush administration may stand trial for
"torturing" three 9/11 terrorists by pouring water up their noses.
22. Low altitude photo shoot of Air Force One over New York City
that frightened thousands of New Yorkers.
23. Sent his National Defense Advisor to Europe to assure them
that the US will no longer treat Israel in a special manner and
they might be on their own with the Muslims.
24. Praised Jimmy Carter's trip to Gaza where he sided with
terrorist Hamas against Israel .
25. Nationalized General Motors and Chrysler while turning
shareholder control over to the unions and freezing out retired
investors who owned their bonds. Committed unlimited taxpayer
billions in the process.
26. Passed a huge energy tax in the House that will make American
industry even less competitive while costing homeowners thousands
per year.
27. Announced nationalized health care "reform" that will strip
seniors of their Medicare, cut pay of physicians, increase taxes
yet another $1 trillion, and put everyone on rationed care with
government bureaucrats deciding who gets care and who doesn't.

Bloomberg: Daschle says, "Health care reform will not be pain
free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come
with age instead of treating them," while former Colorado Governor
Dick Lamm says seniors have "a duty to die."

If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that
the President, Senators and Congressmen have their own special gold
plated health care plan which is guaranteed the remainder of their
lives and they are not subject to this new law if they pass it.

We have an election coming up in November 2010 where we can
reverse the dangerous direction of the Obama administration and its allies.

THE ANT AND THE GRASSHOPPER
This one is a little different....
Two Different Versions! ................. Two Different Morals!

OLD VERSION: The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself

MODERN VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'

Acorn stages a demonstration in front of the ant 's house where the news stations film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.' Rev. Jeremiah Wright then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ants food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote in 2010.

This is hilarious Karl….

And well said, I live in a Socialist country where the nanny state keeps sticking it to workers to pay for the people who won’t work.

While the rich get away with paying little or no tax all because they bank roll the two political parties who in turn do not want to upset them (the rich) by making them pay their fair share in taxes.

Let’s hope you guys don’t allow Obama to take you down this road as well.

They, unlike us, recieve full salary after just one term for retirement along with their medical. What job have any of you ever worked that does that? Not even the military does!!! These people don't even get shot at...yet!!! We all better get out and vote next election, no excuses. At least with a new congress we could control the president until 2012. A large number of these people have committed serious crimes (Felonies) but are allowed to continue to work as if nothing happened. In 1992 I was not hired by the California Highway Patrol because I filed bankruptcy after my divorce (they along with many other agencies will not hire you if you have bad credit). Get out and make a stand, they can't ignore us forever. If that don't work the only solution I have left is to say that "Freedom was purchased with the blood of patriots" and leave it at that. Fill in what ever you like, think of me what you want but don't cry to me after you have lost all your freedoms, having sat on your ass and done nothing about it

Little Johnny-A history lesson....
The teacher said, "Let's begin by reviewing some American History.

Who said 'Give me Liberty , or give me Death'?"

She saw a sea of blank faces, except for Little Johnny, who had his hand up: 'Patrick Henry, 1775' he said.

'Very good!'

Who said 'Government of the People, by the People, for the People, shall not perish from the Earth?'

Again, no response except from Little Johnny, 'Abraham Lincoln, 1863'.

The teacher snapped at the class, 'Class, you should be ashamed; Little Johnny knows more about history than you do.'

She heard a loud whisper: 'F*** the Indians,'

'Who said that?' she demanded.

Little Johnny put his hand up, 'General Custer, 1862.'

At that point, a student in the back said, 'I'm gonna puke.'

The teacher glares around and asks 'All right!!! Now who said that!?'

Again, Little Johnny says, 'George Bush to the Japanese Prime Minister, 1991.'

Now furious, another student yells, 'Oh yeah? Suck this!'

Little Johnny jumps out of his chair waving his hand and shouts to the teacher , 'Bill Clinton, to Monica Lewinsky, 1997!'

Now with almost mob hysteria someone said 'You little sh--. If you say anything else, I'll kill you.'

Little Johnny frantically yells at the top of his voice, ' Michael Jackson to the child witnesses testifying against him- 2004.'

The teacher fainted.

And as the class gathered around the teacher on the floor, someone said, 'Oh sh--, we're screwed!'

Little Johnny said quietly, "The American people, November 4, 2008 ."

Our own worst enemy is Congress and this joke of a President! And by the way you can keep the CHANGE cause we don't want it. Have you forgotten 9/11, what would you have us do to those who come to our country and attack us???

In respect to 911 and other such tragedies
I am also interested in 'Why they attacked us"...Have you ever given any thought to why these people hate us so much? It takes a great deal of hate for someone to blow themselves up in a suicide bomb attack... the only way I could harbor that kind of hate is if someone were to kill my wife and family. What would you do if your spouse and children were killed by a 'Smart Bomb"?.... Just as the majority of us on this site are not Obama supporters...So also were many people in other countries not supporters of the ruling regimes...when their families were killed by our bombs.
You can say these factions hate us because we are christians,maybe so to some extent, but they HATE us for the suffering we have caused them. There are a lot of christian nations in the world....yet we are the nation that is ruled out for hate...and that hate is bred in the suffering we have caused others..right or wrong.

I believe we did the right thing in invading Iraq...just the wrong time. If we were really outraged by human suffering-we would have invaded when tens of thousands of Kurds were gassed to death...we knew they had weapons of mass destruction then, years before we actually went to war. So what if we did not find them, we have evidence they were there by the body count of Kurdish children.

Lets face it folks-our government at times has it's on agenda-and it's often not the agenda of the American people. Our government has gone to war many times under the guise of human rights, justice, democracy, etc...They rallied us to the cause with deception-.when all the while it was oil, or a strategic piece of real estate they wanted.

If you think our government is above it- you need to remember its the same government that enslaved the black man and slaughtered the redman, burned the witches at stake and continues to rob all of us with unjust taxes,fines and penalties.

I will stop there, remember , its ok to disagree here,the world is big enough for all our views, just please remain respectful in your posts. We wont tolerate attacks

People in these regions have been taught to hate us since birth, well before any of us attacked them. One big reason they are against us is our support of Israel. I am sure there are many other reasons, that they use to convince thereselves it's ok.

I certainly don't agree with most of the decisions made by our government, but we are in this situation because people haven't been paying attention. We have (had) the best form of government in the world until certain people decided to ignore the constitution. I love this country, don't care much for politics or the government. Somehow the "We the People" idea has gotten pushed aside. I guess old-fashioned greed is what has ruined it.

If we would stop trying to save everyone else in the world we would be a lot better off. We have sent millions of dollars in food, medical and yes military aid to weaker countries. Certainly we have done so with an agenda, and absolutely why didn't we go into Iraq when the Kurds were being slaughtered. In the case of both Iran and Iraq there have been cases of our government supplying them with military goods. Lot of people believe if we hadn't Russia would have. We can see Russia involved in Iran right now.

So what is the solution to these two very expensive wars we are involved in? Tuck and run like we did in Viet Nam? As far as the idea of us getting the oil in Iraq, have we really gotten much oil from them?

I know certain people got very wealthy from government contracts, but from the oil?

This country isn't perfect, but where else in the world would most of us want to live?

This is by far the best explanation of the Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read. His references to past history are accurate and clear. Not long, easy to understand, and well worth the read. The author of this is said to be Dr. Emanuel Tanay, a well-known and well-respected psychiatrist.

A German's View on Islam

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. 'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectre of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honour-kill.. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China 's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people..

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And who can forget Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:

Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany , they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts--the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

So i guess we are supposed to allow the Terrorist nations who are taught in grade school to hate Americans build training camps and armies to attack us and our allies. Yes, we have to help maintain a certain amount of stability in a region that controls the worlds oil. Just a fact life since the world runs off of it. Where would we be if Saddam was allowed to take Kuwait and his ultimate goal Saudi Arabia? It is unfortunate that our enemies choose to carry their families with them to Training camps and areas where they know they are in danger. If we were in a position where we were prone to attack and someone set up an anti aircraft battery in a lot next to my house i would be smart enough to move my family as far away from it as i could, even if it meant living in a tent.

All come down to stability in a region that controls the majority of the worlds oil. Now in Afghanistan we not only have training bases for terrorist but a country bordering it with nukes! A real mess. think a dude with a bomb strapped on him is bad, let them get a nuke, or let Iran develop nukes. Really a sad situation, God Bless those of us who have relatives fighting over there.
