Hey Guys,
Just got hired on with Horizon Well Logging in Oklahoma. I am an experienced wellsite geologist/geosteerer. Anyone have an opinion about Horizon? Good or Bad?

Permalink Reply by Keith Rodgers on Yea not a good company, worked for them for two years, the owner Gino Demarco brought on a group of lawyers so that he could find a legal way to screw everyone out of money. They switched everyone from day rates to a set salary and then started making people work doubles without getting paid for it. They kept hiring trainee loggers fresh out of college and they kept quitting since there was no time off.
Since there weren't enough loggers trained to work all the jobs there was no time off.
Every few months we would get a new supervisor, the last one was Jackie Strange who is an idiot, She doesnt know anything and certainly shouldnt be anyones boss.
Then Gino sold half of the company's loggers to Chesapeake and they formed the company Nomac Services.
Last I heard Horizon only has 12 jobs in the Northeast PA.
