We all need to slow down, take a good look at our surroundings, ask your self is this the safest way to get this job done and proceed with the upmost caution. We all got to realize this is a serious job we have in front of us, take the time to do a JSA, look for all the worst possible scenarios, you more experienced hands, take the time to teach the younger guys the right way. Now I know when you older guys broke out no one helped you out that much, you learned under fire, often to the amusement of the old timers. Well I'm here to tell you we can not afford to train this younger generation of hands that way. We are under a microscope, the world is watching us and the media loves bad news, don't give them the fodder they need for the front page. Take those young roughnecks and teach them the right way, give them them the benefit of your lessons learned so they can excell at the goal we all share, living to work another day. And you young bucks need to pay attention when some ol' grey beard is telling you something, you'd be much further ahead to take advantage of the wisdom being offered at a safety meeting than one you'd learn in the back of a ambulance. Ain't no task worth that. Well that's bout it for today, STAY SAFE AND LIVE TO WORK ANOTHER DAY.
