I can tell I getting old when I can remember and miss seeing when cabletool rigs were running around the clock. Mostly Bucyrus Erie and a few Walker-Neer. It was always a treat for me to see the lights from rigs at night. In the late 60s 70s and very early 80s is when I remember this.

ive been on the drilling rigs since 2001 and things were still old school then i enjoyed it way more than i do now. i miss throwing chain running the catline and the boomline swinging pipe from the pipe tubs to the catwalk them were the good old days sliding down the hand rails and the bever slide was great fun.
