World Oilfield Forum
Hello Y'all.
I am here needing a opinion on something.
There is situation that is bothering me, and I want to make sure I'm not being bias.
The rig my husband works on, this is his Pushers last week, and he will be going to be a Companyman, well it's between two Drillers on the Pusher job, One who has been a Pusher before for 10 years, and between a guy who just became Driller last week. The Drilling job will be between my husband, who has been a Derrickhand for over a year, and a man who has only been a Floorhand, he worked Derricks for a week, and then went back to floors.
I don't see how you can even be a canidate for a job if you do not have enough experience, how can you be over people if you haven't even had the experience?
This had just really bothered me, yes my husband is involved, but even taking him out of it, I still do not believe it's fair for anyone.
I'm asking for your opinions...Please and Thank you.

Life is not fair, thats a fact. Not the first time this has happened, and won't be the last, all you can do is carry on and do the best you can.
There are other obvious reasons this can come about, I am not going to get into the details but anyone who has been in the position of hiring, firing and promoting will know.
