Anyone here or know of anyone who worked for Butler Drilling or International Western back in the day?
Well i guess i am old and from old school rigs .I really miss the chain hand job,, yet all ways was a derrick man. dont miss being knee deep in mud & water in the seller nippling up & down in 20ty degrees or colder. Or running pipe from the derrick in rain or sown & sleet
Comment by Lenny Hardman on November 25, 2012 at 1:03am ive been on the drilling rigs since 2001 and things were still old school then i enjoyed it way more than i do now. i miss throwing chain running the catline and the boomline swinging pipe from the pipe tubs to the catwalk them were the good old days sliding down the hand rails and the bever slide was great fun.
