I wish I could get the National Geographic Channel here, and they'd take off some of the retard channels like eMptyTV, or some of those sobbing women's channels. Excellent documentary. I kept up with most of this stuff as it happened, but seeing it all put together was touching.

Don't really know what to say. This is something that we all will have in our thoughts whenever doing what we do in the oilfield. Lots of thought and effort went into the attempted saving of the rig. Need that thought and effort ahead of a potential disaster to assure something like that does not happen in the first place.

My heart still goes out to the 11 families. I agree with James Browning, Thank goodness for the experts that came from every where world wide but we as an Industry need better contiguity plans that can be put in effect in a more localized area,

very touching and well put together documentary. I feel for the families that lost family members on the rig. I am a mother of a onland derrick hand and to hear of the accidents that can and do happen...heart wrenching,but, as my son would say, when its in your blood, its hard to give up.

To secure a position as a Drilling Consultant or Drilling Manager. I seek to continue to develop and utilize my skills in the oil and gas land drilling industry. I am experienced in horizontal and directional wells. Have worked with Power Rigs and Diesel Electric Rigs with Top Drive and Iron Roughneck. I have a valid passport.
Drilled vertical and directional wells from 7500” to 15,000’. Utilized Water Base and Oil Base drilling fluids (HTHP) with mud weights up to 18.0 ppg. Supervised all aspects of drilling oil and gas wells. Communicated with and worked well with Drilling Engineers and Geologists. Scheduled services, equipment and supplies as needed in day to day operations. Worked on Draco Slingshots, and Box on Box Triple Jackknife rigs with top drives and iron roughnecks. Experienced with multiple casing strings including liners.
Footage and turnkey drilling of oil and gas wells from 5000’ to 7500’. Responsibilities include supervision of all personnel and equipment. Ordering all equipment, services and relevant supplies as needed in the day to day operations.
Responsible for the operation of a 25,000’ Draco Slingshot diesel electric drilling rig. Supervised a crew of 20 employees in day to day operations in Kuwait for kpc and koc .in South Texas for sharp drilling unit, Robertson drilling. Zenith drilling,ford tool out of pampa texas drilling wells with a average depth of 15,000’ to 19,000’. Vertical and directional work
Footage, Turnkey and Daywork drilling of oil and gas wells from 7000’ to 12,000’. Responsibilities included supervision of all personnel and equipment. Ordering all equipment, services and relevant supplies as needed in the day to day operations. Worked on box on box Lee C. Moore triple power rig. Drilled vertical and horizontal laterals out to 3500’.
Worked on rigs in South Texas and East Texas. Drilled oil and gas wells from 5000’ to 20,000’.
