I am a stay-at-home mom to my three year old son. He truly is the light of my life.My husband, David is a driller for Patterson-UTI Drilling. It sucks at times and I miss him. But I am an "oilfield brat" so to speak since its all my dad has ever done so it made me used to it. But it doesn't make it any easier to see him leave every week. My husband is my best friend and after almost four years of marriage things just keep getting better.

Thanks for accepting my friend request. I don't know any Oilfield housewives like myself around here. None of my friends here have husbands in the oilfield so it's nice to meet people with something in common who knows how it feels to have our men away for whatever their hitch is. My husband is a driller for Patterson UTI . He is on days right now in. Anyways , have a good rest of the weekend.

Hi April! Thanks for sending the recipe, I will get on with it as soon as I can. I think what hubby made was the traditional Cajun dirty rice coz he made it with chicken gizzard and liver. Had to trick my mom that the meat was chicken! Lol.

Hi there April! We are in West Monroe. My hubby was in Shreveport on a Patterson rig for about a yr and a half and then took a Flow Back job. Oil field fell out and he has been outta work since. He is 54 so we can't afford to be picky.... he was a motorman. Any hows, have a great day! Touch back with me.
