"Ben, You have some outstanding pics and drawings. We were at Oil Springs once and I was quite fascinated. I had a 28 BE once and am interested in the pic of the one with the lubricator and I believe you said a tool trap. Were you or they drilling…"

Best fish I have caught all year

"Haha the best way to end a fishing job is with it back sitting in the wrench square. We've always said "you haven't screwed up too bad if you can finish the shift with everything you started with back on surface"."

"It looks great. Better to have a bit too much than too little. The 43 in my area has a 4-71 on it, and the 33A has an inline 6-71"

"Haha it's a 43, But no air clutches on this rig. Powered by a 4-71 Detroit and I think it's a 1951."

Ben, You have some outstanding pics and drawings. We were at Oil Springs once and I was quite fascinated. I had a 28 BE once and am interested in the pic of the one with the lubricator and I believe you said a tool trap. Were you or they drilling top to bottom? It seems to me like it would be quite cumbersome if you had to both drill and bail through a lubricator.

Thanks alot Ben.   To me, if they don't function then they are nothing but toys.    I can't wait to see how deep I can drill through the floor in my shop.    That rotary rig drilled 17 feet and then the kelly cracked and sprayed hydraulic fluid (drilling mud) everywhere and that ended that.

Thanks! The pole rig is a Franks 44, full air. We built the rest of the rig ourselves, I think the crown is franks too, other than that it's new iron.
