About me

I have been in the Oil and Gas industry since 1982, dang that makes me feel old! I spent the early years working in Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma & New Mexico working for companies like JW Gibson, Exeter Drilling & Murfin Drilling. I made a big jump in the mid 90's Going to work for Nabors Drilling International in Doha Qatar on a Jack up, the OCEAN MASTER VIII. Worked for them for about 12 years all over the world. Many places in the Middle East, Japan, Equador & Trinidad & Tabago. A few years ago I was ready to come back stateside and took a position as Rig Manager for Mountain Drilling Company on rig 3 which was in the mountains near Rifle Colorado at that time. Now I am a Drilling Superintendent for them working a 2 week on/off rotation in the Dallas Fort Worth area, overseeing the daily operations of the companies 6 rigs. Unfortunately we have 50% of our rigs stacked due to the economic downfall. But I am confident that the drilling will pick back up soon and all the oilfield trash that has been laid off will be back to work!

Rotate and rotate as fast as you can!!!!
