Sandridge work in northern oklahoma

We have heard that Sandridge will be doing some directional wells in alfalfa and grant counties here in northern oklahoma.  Suppose to start bring wells up this way soon.

Holidays

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas, our rig shut down for two days thanks to the company man.  It went by so fast.  But like most oilfield guys he was already getting bored by day two, so just trying to get back to our usual schedule. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all!

"When I was closer I would cook for the crew - send up chilli, homeade chx noodle soup, cookies, etc.  However, I know you want to help these guys out and perhaps your budget allows for you to do this - but only do it once in a while otherwise…"

Hi, my name is Kim. My husband and I live in enid, OK. He is a life long roughneck and driller. I am a housewife and self employed cake decorator.
I have two daughters, Jamie, age 36, and Lindsey, age 21, and  grandson Dylan, age 10 and grandson Kendall age 2 mo.  My hobbies are cake decorating, competitive cooking, interior decor, drawing, and seeing how much money I can save!
I have lived here all my life, grew up in a household with four other siblings, my dad drove a truck, hauling crude oil and mom did accounting work.
I am very patriotic, and have a right wing type of ideology.
My grandfather was a full-blooded Syrian who came to this country when he was 12 by stowing away on a freighter that he thought was coming to North America, he went to South America and was discovered. He was allowed to earn his fare to North America. I thank god everyday for this miracle, and the fact that I was born in the USA! Thank God for his courage and desire for a better life.

well we got lucky and didnt get any tornadoes around my house ,could have used a little rain tho, dont do face book my sister was trying to get me to join but still havent,guess im gonna sooner or later, garden doing good ready to pick something out of it gonna have to wait lol.well i guess every thing happens for a reason maybe yourhouse is ment for yall. talked to scott the other day the hands sure enjoyed the cake spoiling the hands lol, glad to hear the cake buiness is picking up, weather sure has been nice latley sure am enjoying it, bet i know whos doing thecake for the baby shower lol,well hope you have a good day ttyl ;)~

hay chick its been a while . been pretty bussy , trying to get yard work done seems like an endless task lol,, got the garden planted tho ,,we have tomatoes ,potatoes, peppers , corn cucumbers ,snap beans , watermellons ,cantalope, and were trying peanuts this year, oh yea okra to. we almost have a minie farm with out the live stock lol.. its all doing good so far,, so hows it been on your side of the world ?i guess mike got a job ? baked a new cake yesterday it is rainbow colored i took a white cake mix put somedifferent coloered food coloring in them and baked them and put white icing its a surprize when you cut it, my little boy seen it yesterday he said he didnt want to eat it cause it wasent pretty , itold him it was a surprize, but when i cut it open he was surprized,lol,, it was a four layered cake, i knew we would not eat all that so i sent half of it to the rig some rough necks wil be eating some rainbow cake today. lol trying to faten up some roughnecks up lol,that is like the third cake i done sent to the rig.dont think they mind at all... hope yall have a good day ttyl ;)~

we live a little more south, Ardmore, thats where we call home. Mark works for Pioneer Drilling, East Texas Division. Currently he is on a rig in De Quincy, La. 7 1/2 hours from here, until his rig gets unstacked, again. Its a crazy life in the oilfield but you learn to roll with it. Im still a worm

All in all, I think for any good hand working to further their career with Patterson, PA is the place to be, I have seen more people moving up the ranks faster here than I have during my prior 3 years working the western slope of Colorado. The play in the Marcellus Shale might very well end up making the plays in the Barnett and Haynesville look like childs play.
