I currently work for Tres Management a consulting firm out of OKC. As far as I am concerned the best firm in the patch. Three great guys to call if your in a bind or just to shoot the stuff if it starts to get to you. I have been working for Tres for close to 15 years now. Doing drilling, completions and production work. They have had me as far north as Kansas and as far south as Vermillion as far west as California and as far east as West Delta. I am married to my High School Sweetheart and have been married for 28 years. My wife is my best friend. We have one son who will be a senior in High School this year. He and I fish together and have a good relationship. Before I went to work for Tres I was with Halliburton, Otis Engineering, Slick Line, Snubbing, Packers, SSV and Coil Tubing. During the early 80's I worked for another consulting firm as a drilling consultant. The firm was Falcon Engineering. My supervisor was Gary Hollis, one of the best men in the patch. He was my first mentor other than my first driller, and he was one tough SOB. I have few Hero's but Gary is one of them. Before consulting I roughnecked, worked derricks, drilled, pushed tools and a company man. Broke out in 1973 and have more than enjoyed my time in the "Oil Orchard" as Bobby Joe Cudd used to say. I have been blessed to have worked next to some of the best including Stan Dobler, Brad Crouch and Al Doty. These are the three guys at Tres. They have been like family. Its ben a hell of a ride.
