Brandy Joy.

My husband works on land rigs, for Unit Drilling. I'm 3o something years old. I have 2 wonderful kids. One, Shelia Marie 17 years old. She is in high school and doing good; i'm very proud of her. The other is Saylor Lee, he is 5 years old. He is in kindergarden and loves it. He is Scotts little minni me. He acts too much like his coonass daddy. HE has been workin on the rigs for a loong time. He loves to hunt, fish, drink, ride in his motor boat, 4-wheeler, and just be a coonass. He's a great husband and father from deep down in the Louisiana swamps. Even though he works on the rigs in his second home state Texas! He takes pride in ALMOST everything he does. At least the things he finishes. lol. Well, want to know more message or comment me. And add me. Lovee to get to know you guys.

Mike's job lasted all of a day and half, he got hired as a driller , but they had too many drillers, so he was gonna be a motor man. He got to work late because he had a tire blowout. One of the other drillers smashed his finger and the toolpusher asked if he would be able to drill. This driller and another one with only two years experience told the manager that Mike didn't have his fall protection on and got him run off, Mike said he had it on, but it didn't matter.

Yes Mike is suppose to start work May 5, can't wait. We are still in our house, had a contract on it and kim had a little nervous breakdown about moving. Couldn't find anything decent with the money we would have to spend. So we backed out. Hope we don't regret it.
Hope you guys are not in the path of that tornado outbreak, was talking to Brandy Morgan from Ark. they got hail and funnel clouds yesterday.

Be glad when spring finally gets here so Mike can get started on his garden and do a little fishin. He has pretty much given up on oilfield, went and applied for Social Security Disability, don't know if he has enough wrong with him to get it. Not too excited about living in poverty for the rest of our lives either.

Found out last week we are gonna be grandparents again in the fall, wasn't real happy since they hadn't gotten married yet and she wasn't really ready to be a mom yet.

but I guess it will work out, lots of there friends are having kids wo they are all in the same boat.

I sure hope it is a better year this year. Mike's having to adjust to not being the boss and I just keep reminding him that he is very fortunate to have a job at all at his age. It is hard for him to not be working on a rig, I hope he can adjust.

He is working at the yard this week and will leave sunday for new mexico, they had to put it off because they had to go do a job in kansas. I wish it wasn't so far away, I would love to go with him. But I am not up for a ten hour drive.

I am sure we will stay home on the new year's eve and do our celebrating at home, then will have lindsey and anthony over for dinner the next day, so Happy New Year!

What is so sad about unemployment is that most people don't realize until it happens that there benefits are going to be drastically reduced once they reach their one year anniversary on it. O'Bama made it sound good that we have a tier 2 and tier 3 unemployment benefits but in reality they are of little use to people because of the amount being reduced to.

Mike's one year anniversary comes on January 9, so I am hoping this job works out, he has to work in yard today cause he hasn:t got his security clearance yet. they are working on Air Force Base in New Mexico.

Hi Brandy - Happy Holiday season to you and yours. Scott looks familiar! Did he work for Unit back in 01' & 02'? I used to live in Evangeline but ran around a little over in Basile w/ a couple of buddy's of mine. I've lost track of Wade Cortez. Is he still living there?
