Global Warming

A tremendous amount of controversy has been generated about the issue of global warming. The proponents of that argument say that the argument is over, and anybody that disagrees ‘just doesn’t understand’. In my case, they are right; I don’t understand the lack of reasoning or understanding of the basic science I’m expected to swallow.

Strings Attached...

Did you ever notice that when the federal government hands out money, they always have strings attached? I remember when they decided to lower the speed limit to 55 mph. Since they didn’t actually have a right under the constitution to set speed limits, they got around that by telling the states that they didn’t have to do it, but if they didn’t, they would get no federal highway funds. Guv'mint Drilling

I’ve been involved with the drilling industry for many years and seen booms, and busts come and go. The present economic situation reminds me of the Great Depression of ‘83, and I think it might get worse before it gets better, but it is still, so far, better than I’ve seen in other countries.
