I have been hearing here and there about Colorado issuing or on track to issue more permits this year than any other year ever. I called my buddy in Greeley to find out what is going on up there and talked to just about everyone I know around and have not heard of that much going on. So are all the oil and gas companies just getting ready and waiting on the elections or what is going on. Hi,
I am trying to put a myth to sleep.
"A gas flow from sub sea well will cut the water so much that a boat will not have sufficient buoyancy to float."
I suggest that this is a myth and there has never been an incident of this nature.
Does anyone have a 'real' experience with this phenomena.
Personally I have sailed a work boat through the gas cut sea water, that looked like it was boiling, without losing bouyancy.
