Hi George

Nice to meet you! I worked in Brooks for many years, from 84 90 I was Operations manager for Brooks Field Service, i then ran tools for Jani International for another 9 months or so before relocating back to Fort St John. I have for the last three years been Operations advisor to Verenex Energy Libya. What are you doing here in China? Drop a line I would like to hear from you....Merry Christmas!

Henry don't know what formation you were drilling in in Canada with the 'S' curve wells but 25 years ago we drilled 'S' curve wells at the count of 42 per platform in the North Sea all day long, 24/7/365. Don't worm out on me. How the Hell are you, Vernon Mudd

Henry,
I am as well a dayrater here in the states... As for the multi-cycle it is a breeze alot of people dont like to have to mess with surface testing it but it is no problem just run her through the cycles it is gonna close on number six.. Break it off and re-set it then you have to burn one cycle to test just dont lose count if you have to break circulation going in the hole... As far as milling the window if you ask me the trak-master fast trak is the best out there i ahve run bakers and W-Fords as well. If you need any material on the Multi-cycle let me know or on the NAMBFV i have all the liteature and can email it too you. well i better get up to the floor talk at you later

George about 40 percent of our work is fishing and the rest is just purely whips and Rhino reamers... We work on a co-man call basis no contracts here. if you would like to email me you can look me right up in the smith email. I know for sure you could go to Qatar and stay fairly busy the manager over there is a good friend of mine i was just there in June filling in for hime the hands are working 35/35 there. Here in the states we average about 20-22 days a month on rigs wether it be fishing or remedial tools. If you would like i will give you some contact info for some people i know with smith and get you busy.

George,
I work out of Louisiana for SII but travel all over. I was over in Qatar end of may and first three weeks of june. with Smith you hire on and run all tool's straight away if you have a solid drilling background and for me i would rather do open hole stuff rather than cased hole any day. I have been around the patch since 1987 worked my way up through the ranks before i ever took this job i am still one that believes you have to earn your way to the good stuff. I enjoy running tool's because of the challenges it brings.

Do the call you George or GH? I love to go fishing in BC. Fraiser River. Headed there in September for the salmon run. My favorite though is King and Sturgeon. I am going to put some pictures up soon. I see tou got your picture changed. Hell your not real ugly. Im uglier than you are and still married. Well for the last 4 years I have been with in 100 miles of the house and most of the time 45 minutes. Like I am today. Most of the time completion work. I really dont want to go away from home again but if I have to I will try the Gulf first. Although a friend of mine worked in SE Asia and really liked it. What are your shifts and are you the only one there. Last time I went offshore they didnt have company men an assistant except at the dock to make sure everything was on the boat. So what I did most of the time was paper work. Not that I mind that but I can do that at home and make a dayrate doing AFE's and procedures. Oh and where do you go fishing at home. One of my bosses is a Canadian, hell of a guy. Once you have earned his respect, but you have to earn it. Smart as a whip on production. Really nice Pike but the Grandson looks like he might be more of a handful. Have a good day and thanks for the answers. Taylor---Skinny
