Totally understand. It's like my job, I'm with my boss more than I am with Jay, he's with his boys more than me. I let the little green monster get ahold of me too. Jay does get to come home after work and he's 7/7, so he's here dirty'n up the house while I'm at work. I swear, these men that can't take their boots/shoes/sandals off when they come in the door. I've constantly have a broom in my hand. I don't wear shoes in the house and it drives me nuts to walk on sandy/grassy floors lol. Anyhoo, he's at work tonight and tomorrow night and then he's home for his 7 off. I've been strongly thinking of talking to my boss about going to a 4 day work week. He offered when all this medical started up a couple of months ago, so I may take him up on it. The only thing is, I like to have my own money to blow. If I feel like spending money on the grandkids, I dont' have to explain where it went so.... will think it over. You have a great evening and let's both thank God our men are working...

i hear you about the pooped thing,had to bring my little boy to school yesterday for testing for kindergarden , then had to go to another town to grocery shop, then had to go to another town to bring the dog to get its shots. well i was gonna bring the dog to the town where i went gro, shopping but they wanted 75 dollars for the shots, so i called the vet where i used to live and they wanted 23 dollars for shots .guess who won lol . they want you to take care of your pets they need to try to make it where evey one can afford it. i think scotts rig is suspost to be moving like 45 min. from the house that would be really nice. well i haveto play catch up on some house work. drug the roads to much yesterday lol . ttyl :}

been lookin for us a dog for a while now. my little boy is 5 scott siad a little boy should not grow up without a dog to watch over him. i agree so when he left for work this time i really started looking . seen some want ads called but they were all males left . males tend to run off, lol , called a number out of the phone book and left a message of what i was looking for. figured they werent gonna call me back. then i get a phone call the lady tells me that she found a stray. some one dropped off, she owns a dog grooming place. she told me that she was kinda skinny, that she would give her to me for free , i asked her if she was pure blood she said yes. got me a cholate lab a female of course lol, , shes 3 months old ,brought here to get her first set of shots today, her name is snickers, the kids named her. she is great tho, its been raining here to. not bad weather like by your house .well yall take care and hope i didnt talk your ear off ttyl .. :}

Hey Kim, thanks for your concern. Back to work and I'm settling down some. Still waiting on alot of test results. Dr. has me on anxiety and high cholesterol meds... Getting old really sucks.... Never thought I would say 'getting old' lol. I've also been wanting to get a new (er) car, but this economy scares the heck out of me. We went thru the 80's boom and bust, lost everything except the Harley and now that has been parked for years. Jay (at 41) had to have cataracts taken off both eyes and bless his heart, he's still leary of getting back in the saddle, and truthfully so am I. I haven't posted on the main page (since so many dont' have a job and didn't want to rub it in) but Jbird finally got promoted to tool pusher. I'm so proud. Been pushing him since the 80's to move up and he finally did. Of course, now we are waiting for his rig to come out of the yard (being refurbished) in Marshall, but am still hopeful it will be soon. Of course, he gets a raise, company truck etc., so I can drive his truck if need be. My car was totalled last year from hail storm, they paid if off, so I just cruise around in a golfball lol. I'm so proud for ya'll, all it takes it a little faith cause it will and can go a long ways. If ya'll need anything, don't hesitate to ask, that's what it's all about. Oh and your kitty is precious. I'm a cat person. My big Bob is 14, manx and 21 pounds. He looks like Garfield with no tail. He has his own pillow next to mine and we sleep side by side. He's not doing real well. Was diagnosed a diabetic a couple of yrs ago cause he's so fat, and I was having to give him shots once a day until one day, he just wouldn't have anymore of it and i quit. He hasn't had a shot in about 6 months, but I can tell his kidneys are getting bad and he's got cataracts now. Both are diabetes related. Well, better get something done around here. What an exhausting weekend, now it's starting to rain, I am thankful for that. Hopefully Mike will buzz home tommorrow. Got Bella the cat fixed and she seems to be recouperating just fine.

sounds like you are bussy to, so you have been visiting the grand daughter, sounds like fun, and a baby shower. my sister called yesterday they are having a family reunion at the end of the month . not sure what im gonna do yet its my daughters birthday the same day . scotts suspost to be off. i might drag him to the family reunion . lol, then have a birthday party . glad to hear mikes rig is doing good. scott is in center tx. showing some hands from oklahoma how to rig up their old rig . gonna kinda miss his old rig but at least he is workin on the sister rig . i think he was kinda glad to go show the hands how to rig up and run the rig. at least its not stacked some where . at least they are putting some hands to work. from what i heard they are not selling the rigs any more. but you know how that goes. garden been doing pretty good might plant a fall garden well have fun this weekend .and dont work to hard. ttyl

hey havent talked to you in a while . made some cabbage rolls sunday they were awsome , been pretty bussy around here.scott got him a new toy between workin to clean the three wheeler and fixin the crawfish pond cant catch a break , but i told him next days off one project at a time finish one before he starts another one. he agreed but i know it wont work like that it never does.so how have you been hopefully not to bussy well guess ill talk to you later... :}

We live in Magnolia, Texas. It's kind of a big small town, I guess you could say. We love it here because its not too far from Houston if we want to go do something fun, but it's also got a country feel to it.

Your cakes are so pretty! I started getting into making cakes for my daughter's birthdays and I said, I am never going to buy them a birthday cake, it means more when you make one.

sound like you are real bussy. a harley cake that sounds like fun but the little decorations would be agravating. i think your mom will be happy. been up since 5 this morning woke up to the sound of rain , was kinda nice hopefully it rains this morning and this after noon it will be cloudy so i can shovel some more, to hot to shovel when the sun is out , seems like it drains you faster but it will be worth it,ever ate crawfish if you havent you sure need to try it its great. went get a foush ball table from my father n laws yesterday, the kids sure enjoy playing it at least it gives them something to do.gonna try to clean house good today so when i do yard work thats one less thing i have to worry about.well hope you have a good weekend and have fun dont work to hard on the cakes,, ttyl :}

yes school starts in 2 weeks , my little boy has pretty much clothes but i went to the christan care center yesterday and picked him up 2 pairs of paints and a pair of shorts for$2 .50, sure cant beat that, and my daughters friend gave her a bounch of skirts, they have to wear uniforms the skirts by them selves are $30 bucks a piece and they make them so long you have to altar them so that cost to , trying to go the ceap route, so far all i have to buy is socks and shoes, thank god. glad to hear mike has a crew hopefully all the hands work out. been fighting with the computer since yesterday finnally got it workin. was about ready to throw it out the door lol .finally got it to work right. seems like every time scott leaves for work something messes up. he could not really help me with the computer tho, he dosent really know to much about it its ussually me workin on every thing lol. gonna try to cut grass this weekend if the weather lets.kinda gettin tired of shoveling the blisters are tired to lol. gonna try to put scotts shark pic. on my pic, well guess ill talk to you later :}

had fun on his days off. we started on a crawfish / duck pond, we still have to shovel a bounch of stuff and fix a few things here and there then we can put some water in it.its been raining over here to , but im glad we need all the rain we can get , its been so dry,went salt water fishing ,scott cought a shark and a 14 pound red fish, he was so excited that is his first shark, hes done talkin about going back fishing on his days off. when we got back from fishin we ate blackin red fish and blacken shark, we also fried some shark , i liked the fried one better that was the first time i ever even ate shark it was pretty good, glad to hear about mikes job. hope the weather works in his favor. so you are getting ready for this weekend. bet you are excited. well fixin to go to bed had a long day ttyl :}

Your amazing, I love to cook, but I'm not a baker. Isnt' it a shame that with the economy the way it is, you would think people would be watching their money for bills and food, but they go out and buy drugs. Jbird worked on 3 different rigs on his days off 2 weeks ago. One got busted for drugs, the other is a friend that needed a day off to go get his marriage license and then of course his rig. Just so very very proud Mike is going back to work. I love dispatching. I accept loads from Sysco, Cargill, Schreiber and various brokers, enter into system, schedule p/u and del appts and then dispatch the drivers. It gets to you by about Thursday each week. We've had our drivers for years and they are spoilt and if I give them their load info and they don't want it, they come up with my truck needs work, I don't feel good etc. They are just a bunch of big ol' babys lol. We haul food, deliver to Walmarts, Albertson's, Krogers, HEB's, etc. We go everywhere except Florida, the Northeast and try to stay out of the upper Midwest but have gone there is needed. It's interesting to say the least. Well, nearly time for me to go home yippee, chat later, have a good evening!

getting you a break from the cakes. lol. kinda nice i bet. beeen hot here to they say we have 40 % of rain today sure hope we get it, havent cut the grass in a month its been raining a little here and there , kinda undesided if i should cut the grass before it rains , guess ill have to wait and see ,havin fun with the grand kids? the kids have been keepin us bussy around here im gonna enjoy it while schools out because they have about a month befroe they go back to school, we try to bring them do something when scotts on his days off , b*** we try to bring them do inexpensive stuff like the other day we brought them to the beach we fished a while cought a few fish no keepers tho , my little boy had a blast in the sand .i sure didnt have fun vacuming the truck with all the sand tho lol. then my daughter said we should camp at the beach for one its to hot for all that and 2 i dont mind the sand for the day but i dont like trying to eat something and its all grichey. well hope things are getting better for yall , chat back with me when you get a chance ,, :}
