(Midland County)- A Big Spring man who died in a Midland oilfield accident has been identified.

Authorities say 35 year old William Ryan Locke was dead when the ambulance arrived on scene.

It happened just after 12:30pm yesterday at a rig belonging to Robinson Drilling Company near F-M 1788 and Highway 158 in Midland.

According to early reports, Locke was sprayed with high pressure water while on the rig but it hasn't been determined if that led to his death.
